Park Rules

The Ralph J. Andrews Park/ Campground is managed by the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department and as such is subject to all county ordinances. All campers will be provided a full list of rules upon check in.

  • Camper check-in: 1pm - 8pm
  • Camper check-out: 12pm
  • Campground gate is locked between 10pm and 8am
  • No alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances permitted
  • No guns, firearms, or other weapons or dangerous projectiles
  • No fireworks
  • Quiet hours: 10 pm - 9am
  • All pets must be kenneled or on a leash not more than 6 feet long at all times and may not be left unattended
  • No ATVs or golf carts

Reservation Information

RJA Park/ Campground offers both reserved camp sites as well as first come first serve sites. Reservations may be made over the phone by calling 828.743.3923. Please note that from November to April reservations will be taken Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm by call the campground number. When calling outside of normal business hours please allow sufficient time for a campground representative to return your call. 

Sites may be reserved for up to 14 days.

Reservations require a minimum 2 night stay and payment of 50 percent of the total reservation.

Cancellations prior to 24 hours of reservation will be charged a processing fee totaling one night of the reservation, with the remaining amount being refunded. Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation will not be refunded.
