East LaPorte River Access Park closed November 1, 2004
The East LaPorte River Access is closed until repairs can be made to the park. The floods from Hurricane Frances and Ivan left the park with much damage and numerous safety hazards. The Department is currently working to get the park repaired and we hope to open as soon as we can. Individuals that had shelter rentals at East LaPorte during October will need to contact the Recreation/Parks Department about possible refunds or rescheduling.
